Born in this village city but gonna leave for a faraway place what a pity
Grandiose is Meenakshi Amman temple but the people over here are always very simple
Seconds tick, life moves but you always remain the affable and lovely Madurai!
Nayakars were popular times ago but Theru Naigal are very popular these days :)
Theppakulam they call which I would say is even beautiful than the Niagara Falls
Jasmine is the fragnance of the you and so is the people never stagnant in the company of you
They work 24x7 and the kaiyendhi bhavans give company to them 24x7!
People may not earn much but there is no dearth for happiness such
I can feel Antartica in you if I have a Jigirthanda in a chilly rainy night in AnnaNagar :)
Your Vaigai is drying up but your compassion is unlimited over us
Darkness is common in Madurai but the Tamil Ambriosa you gave has lightened up the whole world
Here I finish my poem thinking of you as I am going to travel from Madurai to Missouri!
Signing off is K.Priyadharshan, with loads and loads of scope and belief to improve in the next attempt!
