DRAMA

DRAMA

Hey friends Here I come with my experience of seeing the first drama in my life ...
My cousin invited to see a drama in which he is acting. It is semester holidays for me , so I thought of going to it rather to sit simply before my PC and chatting with you. Actually the Drama is organised by the Directors of Drama Association of Chennai. It was so quiet at the hall. The hall was empty at the start .  Suddenly @ 6 30 when the Drama was supposed to start ,it was filled. There was absolute silence. I was waiting eagerly for the drama to start as I have never seen it before. And it started . Shabba ...!Really awesome as the lighting was so good even the sound. The people were so keen watching at the drama. It was so interesting. I thought it would be boring . But was humorous and serious too...
There was a break in the middle too as like the film . The drama ran for 90 minutes. Now coming to the plot

The drama's name was AMMAVIN ARANMANAI (MOM'S PALACE). A old couple lived in  a village . They are going to celebrate Sadabishegam (80th). They have two sons and a daughter well settled and living at different places. They all visited their native for the function. Before the function the father became sick. Worried about the father, the sons and daughter decided to take their parents with them. After the function they discussed about the plan with their parents . But their parents refused explaining the need and the reason why they wanted to live over there. As we grow we leave back our native place and we settle in cities and live in luxurious apartment, We don't even remember the place we have born. We leave those places as such and do not care about them and they get destroyed . this is the main theme

The need to nurture our roots and to foster places of worship which are increasingly getting neglected owing to migration to the cities.

the play was enacted well.

So happy to see such plays.
Nowadays we people enjoy watching films. e don't even know that such plays are going on. I wish that hereafter let us see such plays...
