Change of leaders! Abhijit Gupta beats S.S.Ganguly to share the lead with Marat Dzhumaev. Yours truly has just scored 5.5 points out of possible 9 rounds. Corus Open 2008

Hi Guys, Our Vishy had started with a loss against Radjabov "the boy from baku". As of Indian fans it was not a good day for Indians in round 1 except the draw of P.Harikrishna with Nigel Short.

Parsvnath Open 2008

Hi Guys, Happy Pongal, The Parsvnath Open 2008 at Delhi is underway with 2 rounds finished and yours truly has got 2 points and is meeting GM Abhijit Kunte in Round 3. There were a few upsets on top boards with Delhi girl Dhara Gupta beating IM Vikramaditya Kamble in Round 1 and in Round 2 GM R.B.Ramesh and Pravin Thipsay had to sign truce with lower rated players. I will keep you updated whenever it is possible.

Commonwealth Champion!

Hi Guys!, The new Commonwealth chess champion is Grandmaster RB.Ramesh from India and women's champion is D.Harika. Myself, I won a gold medal in U-14 Boys category. I had a stiff competition in the last round with I, Bitan Banerjee, Aditya Udeshi and Mehar Chinna Reddy with 5.5 points going into the last round. Bitan Banerjee lost his game to Ramakrishna.J with black pieces and Aditya Udeshi was held to a draw by IM Shyam Sundar, Mehar Chinna Reddy had to sign peace with his statemate Lalith Babu. Atlast I won my game against Rawat with black pieces and distancing the other players by .5 margin. I will be updating whenever, I am free so visit often. Bye Take care

Hi, Guys I played at Pune Jolly Club Fide Rating Tournament and scored splendidly by scoring 7.5 out of 10 rounds. Notable games including a draw against IM'S Sudhakar Babu and S.Satyapragyan. My next tourney Tamil Nadu Selection for National B at Kodaikanal. Be smiling allways
